I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 20 years experience in the construction industry. I am fortunate to have trained and qualified in the private practice, I then spent a number of years within developing and then main contracting.

Having the opportunity to work across various sectors has enabled me to work on a large range of projects with varying complexities. I have developed robust professional relationships and believe in the importance of maintaining clear boundaries to ensure that the clients remit and expectations are achieved. I have a keen eye for the importance of profit margins whist maintaining high standards for my clients.

I find particular satisfaction in problem solving. Over the years I believe I have developed a capacity to attend to each clients specific requirements on a project which necessitates listening to what is said verbally but also non verbally. This attunement to each client is a hallmark of my working practice. 

I enjoy learning and am keen to pursue further professional development in order to keep abreast of developments in my professional field so that I can provide my clients with the optimal professional input. I am a Parish Counsellor and on the Planning Committee locally. I have a keen interest in being part of the wider community and bringing that experience into my work.
